Project Overview
At the end of Illustration 2, I explored working with two actual clients. One of these became my final assignment. The other had to take a pause. Soon before starting the Practice and Research module, the paused client came back to me - the brief went down well, but the scope and costs were more than they had expected.
We discussed how they might like to proceed and we agreed on an iterative bite-sized approach - to create the central character design for the online workshop, which would also form the basis of the visual language used for other potential illustrations.
Title of the Project
Faith the Florist - an avatar for the entrepreneurs taking Alan Wick's business workshop.
Objective
Establish a character design for Faith and (by extension) a visual language for other illustrations that all tie into Alan's existing brand and values.
Client
Alan Wick - an independent coach and business consultant.
Target Audience
Entrepreneurs and small business owners who are competent in their field but inexperienced in running a business.
Ongoing work
My hope is that the initial exploration of Faith as part of Alan's brand will lead to further corporate illustration for other elements of the workshop, perhaps website images, etc. If the workstream extends, I expect that this project may remain open longer than others.
